At VETROSPACE, sustainability is part of every design decision. Our office pods are designed and manufactured in Finland with a focus on quality, durability, user wellbeing and environmental responsibility.

Our pods are built to order. This helps us avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste.
VETROSPACE has been granted the Design from Finland, which recognizes professional, user-oriented Finnish design.
We use a modular structure so parts can be repaired, refurbished or upgraded. This extends product life and reduces the need for replacement.
With the right care, a VETROSPACE pod is designed to provide fresh air, quiet focus and lasting value for over 20 years.
At the end of its lifecycle, a pod can be dismantled and key materials can be recycled.

VETROSPACE pods are proudly designed and manufactured at our own factory in Turku, Western Finland.
Own manufacturing helps us control quality, work closely with trusted suppliers and reduce transport where possible.
Our quality and environmental work is guided by documented policies and certified management systems.
Our factory operations are covered by ISO 9001 quality management certification and ISO 14001 environmental management certification.

Energy efficiency
We reduce energy use in our own production with LED lighting, demand-controlled ventilation and efficient processes.
Our pods also use energy only when needed. CO₂-monitored ventilation adjusts airflow, and motion-sensor LED lighting activates when the pod is in use.
VETROSPACE pods are designed for comfort, focus and high-quality indoor air. This means energy use may be higher than in simpler solutions, but it supports better ventilation, lighting, acoustic performance and user wellbeing.
Indoor air quality
Our pods are designed for spaces where people work, meet and focus. Indoor air quality is an important part of this.
VETROSPACE pods are built with advanced air quality capabilities, including CO₂-monitored ventilation that helps maintain fresh air during use. This supports comfort, focus, wellbeing and efficient work throughout the day.
Our products are supported by GREENGUARD emissions certification. The applicable products and scope are defined in the certificate documentation.
LCA & product carbon
We have made LCA calculations where A1–A3 product-stage emissions can be extracted for selected VETROSPACE solutions using One Click LCA software.
The calculations cover raw materials, transport to manufacturing and manufacturing.
The calculations are not third-party verified and are not official EPDs. Project-specific carbon information is available on request.
Documentation for sustainable projects
We provide documentation that may support LEED, BREEAM and other sustainability-led projects.
Final credit contribution depends on the project, rating system version and assessor review.

FAQ's about quality & sustainability
Can VETROSPACE provide LCA, EPD or product carbon data?
Not currently. We have made LCA calculations where A1–A3 product-stage emissions can be extracted for selected VETROSPACE solutions using One Click LCA software. We support our customers in projects and can provide project-specific LCA calculations.
If needed the calculations can be verified with a 3rd party.

Are VETROSPACE office pods sustainable?
We have calculated A1–A3 product-stage emissions for the XS, XS+, M+, L and L+ product range using One Click LCA. For example, the XS+ in Structure 5, with two glass walls, has a calculated A1–A3 value of 153 kg CO₂e.

Where are VETROSPACE office pods manufactured?
In-house manufacturing helps us control quality, work closely with trusted suppliers and ensure consistent production standards.
How long does a VETROSPACE office pod last?
VETROSPACE pods are designed for a long lifecycle of up to 20 years.
This requires proper care and maintenance. Pods should be cleaned regularly, maintained according to instructions and filters exchanged; pre-filters (G4) exchanged every 6 months and HEPA H13 filters every 12 months.
VETROSPACE offers a standard two-year warranty. The warranty may be extended depending on local agreements and service arrangements.
Can VETROSPACE pods be recycled?

This helps maintain fresh air inside the pod and supports comfort, focus and wellbeing during use. Our products are also supported by GREENGUARD emissions certification.
Do VETROSPACE pods use more energy than simpler office pods?
The energy is used to support fresh air, acoustic comfort, lighting quality, user wellbeing and efficient work. CO₂-monitored ventilation and motion-sensor LED lighting help ensure energy is used only when needed.
